Instead of moderating her political positions going into the 2020 presidential election so that she can appeal to more Americans, Democrat candidate Sen. Kamala Harris has chosen to go full left-wing.

During a CNN town hall Monday evening, the California congresswoman endorsed plans to eliminate the fossil fuel industry and the private healthcare market.  All that in just one night. Wow.

“I support a Green New Deal, and I will tell you why: Climate change is an existential threat to us, and we have got to deal with the reality of it,” she said when asked by an audience member about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s radical “Green New Deal.”

The plan by the freshman congresswoman calls for wiping the fossil fuel industry out of existence and replacing all of America’s energy production with renewables within 10 years.

Pretty much the same side of the commie coin.  Both are anti-capitalists, IOW.  At least, when it comes to everyone 'else's' business.  When it comes to their own wallets, they're for anything that gets them the most $$$ (typical hypocrisy of the left).

if you think for a moment that HR Clinton is not running, you just are not paying attention.  Nothing has happened to her base.  She has a solid 35-40% base, regardless of what Dems and billionaires announce they are running in the Democommie Party. 

 

That was before she lost to Trump.

No. She has no base. She squandered it when she lost to Trump. The machine knows that Hillary Clinton cannot win the states she lost: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan. Her name is poison there.

All this paranoia about "Hillary's going to win the primaries" is bunk. She didn't win in 2008. She only got 2016 because the machine decided it was "her turn." You might as well try to suggest that Bob Dole's going to come out of retirement and run against Trump in 2020, such is the ridiculousness of the notion. She had her chance.

Who does the machine support? Right now, I don't see anyone. This looks like 2004, when they're just going to sit back and let the strongest candidate win. They can't afford to foist a candidate on the party and lose to Trump again. They need power to survive.

I think this is a true statement, but what you are refusing you recognize is that Clinton is sitting on billions, and if you do not think that makes her an extremely powerful candidate, you are wrong.  And there are folks here saying they want Trump to win again with a focus on preparing for 2024.  Who knows, maybe some truth there.

But I tell you, when she wins the first 3-4 primaries, half of those running drop out, for they will see the writing on the wall.  Again, money does matter. and for those of you saying she no longer has a base, there is nothing to indicate that.  Nothing.  There are plenty of people with reservations in her regard, but once she starts winning, and the media sings her praises, the party is over.  And any of you that think the DNC will not once again do just as they did in 2016, your mistaken.  They will do everything once she is halfway through to help her over the primary finish line. 

Remember, history repeats itself.

It isn't just the money. How anyone could doubt, after the Steele Dossier, that she has an investigative crew that rivals any federal agency, is beyond me? Recall the 900 FBI files she stole and loaded into the DNC's servers? That was just a warmup, and I have little doubt that among the code-named project files and other national secrets, she has the dirt on a lot of up-and-comers as well. If she doesn't have any dirt, she only needs enough other info to make the allegations credible, whatever they are. That is her style of control (for fun and profit).

If you think about the FBI files back  when on rising and powerful Republicans, you might have a clue why some votes just don't  go as expected. There are a lot of sold souls on Capitol Hill.
