A Woman's Right?
« on: February 02, 2019, 02:58:35 am »
If the argument to support abortions is that "It is A Woman's Right To Choose" what to do with her own body, then does that same Right extend to her selling a body part?

If I am reading the law correctly ... then the answer is No!

Quote
Under U.S. federal law, it is illegal to sell a kidney or any other bodily organ. The National Organ Transplant Act of 1984, sponsored by then-Congressman Al Gore (D-Tenn.) and Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), specifically states:

"It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly acquire, receive, or otherwise transfer any human organ for valuable consideration for use in human transplantation if the transfer affects interstate commerce."

The law imposes a maximum $50,000 fine and five years in prison for any violation. Most state laws also prohibit the sale of organs for profit.

In what way then does a "Woman's Right To Choose" Not apply here?

Selling organs affects men too, who are hated.  Ergo, not a "Womyn's Rights" issue. </cynic mode>

Interesting.Next question, since Planned Parenthood has been caught selling fetal 'tissue', can she sell that fetal tissue? (If so, then it isn't part of her body, which means it belongs to someone else. Which would mean she can sell body parts as long as they aren't hers, or at least planned parenthood can.)

No.  A body part has her DNA.  A baby has half her DNA, and half from another individual, making it a separate entity from the "mother".

That is correct. In an abortion a separate genetic entity (a unique person) is killed.

The point that I was trying to make is ...

If you take the above law to it's logical conclusion ... A woman Does Not have complete authority over Her own body!?

Sounds like the baby killers are up to the usual "pick and choose" which laws they wish to follow!

My point is, they won't take it to it's logical conclusion if it enhances rights for males in any way.  Men have organs that can be sold too.

Oh I realize that.

I was just taking their main argument to it's obvious conclusion.

No.  A body part has her DNA.  A baby has half her DNA, and half from another individual, making it a separate entity from the "mother".

Then why the siren song, "It's my body."

If in fact is IS "her body," how can these professional whiners demand child support from the father for 18 years?  "HER BODY" should not be HIS responsibility.  But then again, truth is not in the Left.
Roe V. Wade was based on a lie.  Norma McCorvey was NOT raped as she claimed.  The decision should be overturned therefore.
