Let's be honest, EVERY election is a choice between two weevils. This is not new.

My first Presidential election in which I could vote was '76.  Reagan was a real choice, but every election before and since has been "the lesser of two evils," which left us with poor Presidents.
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16

Since we don't have any perfect people we don't have any perfect candidates.  It will always be "the lesser of two evils".

I understand why good conservatives cringe at the thought of voting for Trump.   What animates me is barring from the Presidency a wild-eyed socialist obsessed with fomenting division and hate.    This is going to be a lesser-of-two-evils election for me,  I fear.    Don't blame me for fantasizing about a way out of such a terrible choice.

If President Trump continues to perform in office as he has to date, 2020 is going to be the easiest decision I've had to make in a presidential election year in a LONG time!

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

  • Dems-greatest existential threat to USA republic!
If Schultz runs as a 3rd party candidate, he splits mostly the Dem vote and Trump wins easily.  Now if a conservative runs as a 3rd party candidate, or we have four people running as what happened when Lincoln ran, it is possible any one of the four could win.  Lincoln won ONLY because the Democrats were split and two people ran that were Democrats.  All four men that ran in Lincoln's election received Electoral College votes, but Lincoln squeaked by narrowly with I believe a whopping 34% of the Electoral College vote(if memory serves).

I predict a huge victory for Trump and the Republicans.  America will be so sick of the fruitloops running around saying crazy things that they overwhelmingly vote Republican, with many Dems staying at home out of disgust.

I agree @Bigun and it kinda amazes me that I do, but it is a total credit to Trump that I will vote for him with great pleasure.
