Charlie Landeros had a history of far-left activism.

A member of an Antifa-related organization was killed after he pulled a weapon on Eugene, Oregon police at a middle school.

“An armed man involved in a custody dispute was shot to death by Eugene police during a struggle just outside Cascade Middle School Friday morning,” said KOIN. “Authorities said they were called to the school shortly before 10:30 a.m. to escort the man from the school. As they were walking him out, authorities said, he produced a gun.”

Charlie Landeros was a far-left activist who used they/them/theirs pronouns. He had recently lost custody of his child, which is reportedly why he was at the school in the first place. He had a loaded pistol in his person, and extra 9mm ammunition in his backpack.

An armed man reportedly involved in a custody dispute was shot to death outside of a Portland middle school last week

“Authorities said they were called to the school shortly before 10:30 a.m. to escort the man from the school,” KOIN reported. “As they were walking him out, authorities said he produced a gun.”

A struggle ensued, which was captured by an officer’s body camera, and the man was shot and killed by police. He was later identified as Charles Frederick Landeros, 30, of Eugene.

I'm not a leftist, but I have had questions about that one. No knock warrant, cops dressed in undercover clothes (to blend in with the street culture) someone busts in the door and shoots the dog, what would you do?

Short a lot of drug cash and massive quantities of drugs they were supposedly dealing.
Who doesn't have a couple of shotguns, a .22, another rifle, and and a pistol around the house? In these parts that's a starter set.

As far as this incident goes, it sounds like a 'justifiable shoot'. WTF was he doing inside the school armed? (Ain't there laws against guns in school?)
I have to observe that custody battles get pretty emotional, and folks sometimes don't act so "normal" over having their kids taken away, no matter who does it.

And it is sad for the kid, who will have to go back to the same school building his father was killed in, day after day.

I guess you're not aware of the number of kids murdered by their parents during custody disputes in order to "slight" the other parent.

Yes, it is tragic for the child whether the father was a good father or abusive.

Let's see twenty to thirty cents per bullet a couple of hours of paperwork 8- 10 hours of mandated internal affairs audit of the incident. $1,000- 1,500 versus $10,000 trial $1,500 public defender, $60,000 per year for up to 5 years incarceration. Time and money well spent. I hope this sends a message to the other little Antifa shits, but I doubt it will.
