Amnesty. For every man jack of em since the 80's.

Isn't that exactly what Trump said he would expedite during the campaign.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

I was paying much more attention to Cruz.  I wasn't aware that Trump said he would expedite amnesty.

Yep, and one of the very many reasons he will never get my vote.

It might be.  We have been doing so long and the benefits keep growing.  We've been doing it so long that politicians don't even acknowledge that illegal immigration is breaking the law.  Lawmakers breaking the law.  Its so ingrained.  Sanctuary cities with full benefits.  People come and then their families come too.  They come with children and then have more children.  It seems like our purpose to see that these unfortunate people who come because they are fleeing this or that deserve to be treated special.  Lets give them government benefits.  Make sure if they go to the hospital that their bills are covered by welfare.    All so called "low wage earners" so we have to take care of them.

Remember it is our fault.  Hillary ruined Honduras.  I was told by a liberal its our fault.  We are evil because Hillary bombed Honduras.  Did she?  All I can find is this.

We wouldn't have this problem if we simply stopped giving out free shit to every illegal who shows up at a school, clinic, or food stamp office.

I did a quick google search and couldn't find any MSM new outlet reporting anything similar.  I'm not quite sure as Secretary of State she had the authority to direct the military to bomb. I would think that would come under the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Secretary of Defense.

Regardless, continuing to allow illegals into our country will eventually dissolve the sovereignty of the U.S.A.

I hate to be the voice of reason here because people hate the voice of reason, but this was Trump's attempt to solve the problem.

The concessions he is willing to make are annoying but not a deal breaker in my opinion.  Given time, Trump can lead us away from some of them.

This was a last ditch effort to get something passed and open the government.  If Nancy Pelosi continues on her path, and we know she will,  Trump will have to make a decision on another option.

But if Mitch brings this deal to the Senate and it passes (and even Romney is on board), it will be a stark choice for the House which has a fairly slim majority.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

Good post. Those are situations that need to be studied alright.

Man has a base nature as well, smuggling drugs and so on, it can not be all of our fault.

All of the press says we backed the wrong side in Honduras back in 2009 or whenever that exact year was. I vaguely remember it.

Now, we are going to put $1 billion plus in that region. I have no problem with that.

Trump is the first president since Ike that is willing to use the power of this office to END ILLEGAL
IMMIGRATION and yall are fighting him on it. You're insane and by not supporting Trump you will
hand the country to the Dems who will import millions of illegals to replace you at the ballet box. Fools!

Handing the ballot box to the DEMS is what I want to avoid; handing the DEMS amnesty in any way, including DACA WILL eventually hand them the ballot box.  That has been my point all along.

Yes, I get that every swinging liberal and RINO is trying to stop him from building the wall, tying his hands, etc., I get that.  Him making any sort of amnesty deal and expecting a good result, just isn't going to happen.  I support him in many ways, but can't support him in any agreement that risks our sovereignty.

Bullcrap, plain and simple.
Reagan was supposed to end illegal 'immigration' too- A one-time amnesty, with the border secured thereafter. He fell for this same crap, the difference being whether the current administration learned a single damn thing from that failure.

Likewise, Duncan Hunter pushed through his fence, and got it approved, only later to have it gutted by Republicans. Again, the difference now is whether the current administration learned from that failure.

Apparently not.
I am not fighting Tumpy on the wall - I want a wall.

But not at the expense of granting amnesty to every single illegal alien born since the 80's, to include not only those currently here, but also those still coming.

And I am certainly not willing to support yet another 'I will pay you on Tuesday for a hamburger today' deal with democrats. Here's a clue: Tuesday never comes.

So screw your insulting tone. Insanity is doing the same dang thing all over again, expecting different results.

Ike did seal our borders and forcibly deported a million plus illegals, it was Reagan that screwed up in 1986 not Ike.

If that is the case,I stand corrected. I thought he had a solid deal, and was then stabbed in the back like Reagan was.

Total amen @jpsb   It amazes and horrifies me that so many here are willing to throw Trump to the wolves ... the one man who actually feels strongly about border security.

They seem unable to see the true stakes in this fight and how desperately we need to support Trump.

Nope, and I am beginning to think I need a self-imposed time out from this board because apparently only a few people here want to face reality.

And the virtue signaling is making me sick.  I hope I will stay away for a few days until things (and me) cool down.
