The name of this prison hellhole strikes fear into the hearts of all Iranians.
Evin Prison has been dubbed “a black hole of evilâ€, a notorious torture factory where merciless guards reduce dissidents and political prisoners to quivering wrecks.
And where few who enter leave with their lives - or at least their sanity - intact.

The pictures at the link seem to belie the regime seeking to show the world, "see, it isn't that bad.". Though, the Mirror is a sensational tabloid, I think there are some good takeaways with the article. You have some sort of idea what is going on.
