Michael Cohen subpoenaed by Senate Intelligence Committee

President Trump’s former fixer Michael Cohen has been subpoenaed by the Senate Intelligence Committee to testify before he surrenders for his prison sentence.
The subpoena requests Cohen testify to the committee in mid-February, according to CNN.
On Wednesday, Cohen postponed his scheduled testimony before the House Oversight Committee, citing “ongoing threats†from Trump and his lawyer Rudy Giuliani.
Cohen had agreed to testify Feb. 7 in front of the committee.
“Due to ongoing threats against his family from President Trump and Mr. Giuliani, as recently as this weekend, as well as Mr. Cohen's continued cooperation with ongoing investigations, by advice of counsel, Mr. Cohen’s appearance will be postponed to a later date,†said Lanny Davis, an adviser and former lawyer to Cohen.
The testimony was scheduled to happen about a month before Cohen reports to federal prison on March 6.
Trump commented on the postponement early Thursday, mocking Cohen’s hiring of Davis, a former White House lawyer in the Clinton administration.
Cohen was sentenced to two months behind bars in December after he pleaded guilty to “knowingly and willfully" making "a materially false, fictitious and fraudulent statement and representation†to Congress. Those two months will be served concurrently with the three years he received as part of the campaign finance violations and tax and bank fraud case he faced last year in New York.
