Mueller and Bill Barr ‘Best Friends For 20 years’ – Wives Share a Bible Study – Mueller Attended the Weddings of Barr’s Daughters

It just keeps getting better.

Incoming Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) met with Trump’s nominee for Attorney General, Bill Barr on Wednesday.

Graham took questions from reporters who were desperate to make sure Bill Barr wouldn’t impede on King Mueller’s inquisition if he were to be confirmed.

Senator Graham told reporters Bill Barr and Robert Mueller have been ‘best friends’ for 20 years and that Barr has a ‘high opinion of Mueller.’

“I didn’t know that they worked together, that they were that close personally and that they worked together for years,” Graham said.

Lindsey Graham explained that the two are so close that their wives attend the same Bible study and Mueller attended two of Barr’s daughters’ weddings, reported the Daily Mail.

Graham listed a number of questions that he had put to Barr: 'I asked Mr. Barr directly, 'Do you think Mr. Mueller is on a witch hunt?' He said no. 'Do you think he would be fair to the president and the country as a whole?' He said yes. 'And do you see any reason for Mr. Mueller's investigation to be stopped?' He said no. 'Do you see any reason for a termination based on cause?' He said no. 'Are you committed to making sure Mr. Mueller can finish his job?' Yes.'


'So his opinion of Mr. Mueller is very, very high in terms of ethics and character and professionalism,' Graham said.

Donald Trump knows that the Russian collusion charge is phony and that Special Counsel is the swamp’s revenge for his having won the election. But, apparently he decided early on to see this investigation through to its conclusion, certain that Mueller will come up empty. Members of Trump’s  team may be worried, but I don’t think Trump is worried at all that any legal or political problems will accrue to him. He knows his base has his back.

Maybe not necessarily, but with Mueller's history of using friends to get to high places, it's a pretty good bet Barr would protect Mueller any way he can.  Goes with the turf.
