Hillary Clinton is meeting with possible 2020 Democrats

The former secretary of state and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee has talked about the 2020 election with Sen. Kamala Harris, Sen. Cory Booker, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, according to two sources close to Clinton, and there are plans for her to talk with other contenders.

The meetings with Clinton are a sign that potential Democratic presidential candidates see value in her endorsement. Clinton maintains a devoted group of supporters around the country (she won over 65 million votes just two years ago) and a strong fundraising network.

The sources close to Clinton tell CNN that the five Democrats she has met with and others waiting for a meeting are asking for her support if they run.

"People are direct in saying they want her support," the source said. "Others are reaching out."

The assumption among people around Clinton is that the former nominee will sit out the Democratic primary and get behind the eventual nominee, but one source cautioned that things could change based on how the primary plays out.

For one thing they have to be wondering how much dirt she has on them and what she expects in return for keeping quiet.

Perhaps she needs to feel that she's still relevant.  I highly doubt that she'd run for the presidency again, for one as we saw in '16 she doesn't have the energy, stamina or the health.  She may decide to get behind someone in hopes that they'd give her the VP slot should she win.

The DEMS are trying to change the electoral process and it may be her hope that since she did win the majority vote, that she could do so again, but IMHO her time is over.

So far, I think that Beto or Castro will become the GOP nominee.

I'm surprised that anyone thinks that it will be possible for HRC to find 2,020 Democrats who would be willing to meet with her.  Her speaking tour didn't look that good, and things are only getting worse for her over the near term.

Yes, however, that's not going to stop them from proposing an amendment to the Constitution.  I highly doubt that they will be successful by 2020, but the potential is there should they win the WH and the Senate in addition to the House. 

What people fail to understand is that everything they are proposing now, as absurd and unconstitutional as those issues may seem, they will keep pushing until they get their way when they have a full majority.  That's what amnesty and asylum is all about; getting their majority, thus ensuring their domination from that point forward.

At that point having a SCOTUS that leans conservative will be irrelevant; that's another issue that they've brought up.  Term limits for the justices.

The liberal left doesn't give a damn about our Constitution and that is why they are downplaying or not even teaching about the Constitution in our schools.

Funny. I'm watching Sopranos now. The headline reminded me of Tony meeting with all his CAPOs. Hillary is a dead duck. The only thing she ever had going for her was Bill Clinton. Buba is so far out of the loop now he has no sway. And therefore, Hillary has nothing.

It is impossible to fathom what the hell she is thinking. But she is a dead duck. I'm surprised those people even agreed to meet with her. I wouldn't, if she ever asked me.

The WalkAway movement has barely gotten started.  I predict that the majority of Dems will be red-pilled in 2019.  (So will you, I think.)  Ardently stupid Democrat voters will FINALLY have to face what many of us already know, i.e., that the political elitists have been LYING to them about EVERTYTHING.  The lies have been way, way worse than the Dems or even most Republicans have thus far imagined. 

Besides, the illegal immigration stuff will be stopped by the wall that Trump is going to get, one way or another.

It's all just a matter of Trump's timing at this point.  His plans will not be band-aids for the Republic.   His planning has required a difficult opening game and a long middle game on his part;  we will soon be moving into his end game, I believe.
