North Korea says Kim Jong Un traveling to China for talks with Xi
BY BRETT SAMUELS - 01/07/19 07:12 PM EST North Korean state media said Tuesday that Kim Jong Un is visiting China to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The Associated Press, citing reports from North and South Korean media, reported that that Kim was joined by his wife and North Korean officials for the trip. The meeting with Xi will mark the fourth time the two leaders have held talks.
Kim most recently visited China in June, just days after his summit in Singapore with President Trump.
North Korean and U.S. officials have reportedly met multiple times in Vietnam in recent weeks to discuss the location of a second meeting between Trump and Kim.
