New decree seeks to 'guide Islam', as crackdown against Muslims and Islamic symbols continues.

China has passed a new law that seeks to "Sinicize" Islam within the next five years, the latest move by Beijing to rewrite how the religion is practised.

China's main English newspaper, Global Times, reported on Saturday that after a meeting with representatives from eight Islamic associations, government officials "agreed to guide Islam to be compatible with socialism and implement measures to Sinicize the religion".

The newspaper did not provide further details or the names of the associations that agreed to the decree.

Anyone who doesn't know these things, oppression of Christianity too and other religions, they just don't know then. Not my problem.

Nah. The Muslims control plenty of oil without giving them control of the Orinoco Belt.

You  could put that matchup on pay-per-view and sell out, but the Orinoco Belt contains what many consider to be the world's largest oil reserves. I wouldn't want either group to control that.

But if we could send 'em our ecowhackos, to 'peacefully protest' by tampering with the infrastructure, it could be interesting.... :pondering:

Socialism and Islam are pretty much the same thing,just dressed up different.
