McCaskill on Ocasio-Cortez: ‘I’m a little confused why she’s the thing’

Outgoing Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill (Mo.) says that she is “a little confused” by the rapid rise of incoming Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.)

In an exit interview with CNN, McCaskill said she wishes Ocasio-Cortez well, but advised the rising Democratic star to walk the walk.

"I'm a little confused why she's the thing,” McCaskill told CNN. “But it's a good example of what I'm talking about, a bright shiny new object, came out of nowhere and surprised people when she beat a very experienced congressman."

Ocasio-Cortez, a self-described Democratic socialist, shocked the political world when she unseated longtime Democratic Rep. Joe Crowley in New York's 14th Congressional District’s primary earlier this year.

First she blames mysterious Right Wing groups for her loss and now she is confused why a Socialist is popular in a party that promotes Socialism. This woman is an idiot.

Good Grief McCaskill....Seriously?  Your party of rats are always enamored by such people..empty suits like  Obama, Nacho Senator O'Rourke, Carmela Harris, Spartacus whatshisname.

What makes AOC real for the Dems is that she could be their poster girl.  She represents their platform exactly.  The Dems have gone communist, and she is not afraid to tell it like it is.
