Teenage suspect dead after shooting at Richmond school
« on: December 13, 2018, 03:44:37 pm »
Someone saw something and or said something and a good outcome resulted!

Indiana State Police said that a shooting at David W. Dennis Intermediate School in Richmond has resulted in the death of the suspect. Police say the situation began around 8 a.m.

No other students were injured, according to ISP.

Police said someone warned police that someone could be on the way to the school to "commit a violent act." Officers responded quickly and confronted the suspect outside of the school.

According to ISP, the suspect exchanged gunfire with police before turning the gun on himself.

Students from the school are being transported to Richmond High School. Parents must go to Civic Hall to pick up their students.

The school announced around around 8:40 a.m. that the school district was going to be locked down.

Just after 9 a.m., the district said the school was secure following an active shooter situation.

All other schools in Richmond will resume classes and follow regular dismissal times. Afternoon preschool classes are canceled.

A good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun. Good job.
In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
