So lets be clear.

If Mueller comes back and presents solid and convincing evidence that President Trump colluded with Vladimir Putin to infiltrate voting mechanisms, or to payoff political operatives, or to steal emails and intelligence from the Dems...everyone on this board will favor impeachment. We will do so, because we are not loyal to...nor do any of us worship...the man Donald Trump. What we ARE loyal to is the very "rule of law" that is at stake in this investigation and in any subsequent Impeachment effort.

Total bullcrap.

Should the Democrat-Socialists and their NeverTrump Quislings attempt to Impeach a United States President...based on absurdities such as payoffs from personal funds relating to shutting up trollips...they WILL spark a fire that they cannot imagine. So the articles of an Impeachment matter as does the type of evidence/charges coming from the Mueller investigation.

more bullcrap.

Quote
[...] those of us of good conscience and respect for the law will await the evidentiary findings before taking any kind of action.

[...]

But lets be F'ing crystal clear, attempting an impeachment (based on campaign finance issues)...which is admittedly a political action and not a legal one...would be nothing less than a soft coup attempt

ANY impeachable offense (roughly any felony) with good evidence to back it, should be enough. You have no right to say what that is. If it is beyond the scope of the investigation, so what, if that measure was allowed under judicial oversight? Let em fish (they always do).

Quote
Anyone who chooses to stay on the sidelines in such a fight, is akin to those who stood by during the lynchings of minorities in the 50's...or who looked the other way when the Gestapo rounded up their neighbors. In some fights, you must pick a side if you are a person of conscience...this is one of those fights.

Oh what horseshit. Not my circus, not my clown. If you didn't want such a thing to happen, you should have voted in a man of character.

Why should I pick a side? If he's a felon, he's a felon. That is a matter for the courts. If he is guilty of some crime, and is impeached, that is as it should be.

Was Clinton legitimately tried for the blue dress? Yes he was.
Tumpy gets the same standard. But let's face it, anything that topples your hero, or that stands a chance of it, will be reason to take it to the streets, because all y'all are that emotionally connected.

Yes, it is hero worship. Every little thing he does is lauded and exaggerated like it's the second coming. Anything he doesn't do or shouldn't do is ignored or pishawed.

It is truly sickening.

I have Never seen so much fury and fire invested in any argument as this one.

Especially since it's all hypothetical, and wishful thinking.

Mueller is a joke, ans Trump is not going to be impeached, much less removed.

Get a Life NT types.
My 'Viking Hunter' High Adventure Alternate History Series is FREE, ALL 3 volumes, at most ebook retailers including Ibooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more.

In Vol 2 the weapons come out in a winner take all war on two fronts.

Vol 3 opens with the rigged murder trial of the villain in a Viking Court under Viking law to set the stage for the hero's own murder trial.

Mueller is not a joke, and there is a decent chance Trump is impeached.  But I agree that he won’t be removed.  I do not see the Senate voting to remove him under any facts that have arisen to-date.

Then You drag Stormy Daniels onto the Senate floor, who bitched that Trump "ruined her career", sued him, and now owes him $293k in legalfees for her loopy gutter antics.

I already said I agree that the Senate will almost certainly not vote to remove Trump.  To me, that would be the  case whether you dragged her into it or not.  So what was your point?

An impeachable offense is nothing more or less than what a sufficient number of representatives decide is worthy of impeachment.   Whether the Senate agrees with them is another matter.

I feel sure the Dems already have the papers ready to start impeachment - they won't wait for anything from Mueller.  They just want to impeach because they can.

Honestly, I think that would ultimately end up hurting them more than Trump. I am positive the Senate would not vote to remove him, so it would be an exercise in theatrics, and Trump is as good at empty theatrics as are the democrats, so they may have met their match there.

Better yet, get him in a civil suit deposition saying he never had the affair or made the payment to influence the election. Want to bet he pleads the 5th on those?
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

I don't know about the 5th, but I would bet that he would lie about them.

What if they find tax evasion in the hundreds of thousands of dollars? For example claiming the hush money as a business legal expense.
