US Sailors Who Made the Ultimate Sacrifice in Pearl Harbor Are Finally Returning Home After 77 Years

77 years later, let us not forget the loss and sacrifices of those who were killed during the attack at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.
It was “a date which will live in infamy,†as then-President Franklin D. Roosevelt called it, when 2,400 servicemembers lost their lives after Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, was attacked by naval and air forces of Japan.
Remains from those who were serving on USS Oklahoma on the day of the attack were buried at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Hawaii as unknown’s, but later the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency were able to test 400 sets of remains with advanced technology, the Associated Press reported.
