Strictly opinion, but I believe at the rate things are going, she is absolutely correct.

Ann Coulter: ‘Trump Will Be The Last Republican President’

...."Ann Coulter -- who early in 2016 predicted Doanld Trump's presidential win -- said that because of changing demographics and the propensity of many young immigrants to vote for liberals, Donald Trump "will be the last Republican president."

In a Nov. 28 interview with Editor in-Chief Alex Marlow on Breitbart News Daily, Coulter said, “Every day, more and more immigrants turn 18 and start voting, canceling out all of your votes. It’s about five more years. Trump will be the last Republican president.".........

.......“They barely won the last election," Coulter said of the 2016 Trump campaign. "It was very exciting, it was great, everyone remembers election night. You always have this feeling we’re invincible and ha, ha, ha you guys are losers, you lost.".....

.....But "it was really close," she said. "You switch 80,000 votes, mostly in the industrial Midwest, and he [Trump] loses."

“I told him directly during the transition," said Coulter,  "‘If you don’t keep your promises, you run the exact same election four years from now, and just through the process of immigrants turning 18 and block voting for the Democrats, you lose the exact same election.’”

She is correct though.  The demographics are changing and have been changing rapidly.  The mid terms (especially in TX) should have been a wake up call.  Recall that Bammy let in busloads of 'displaced' children and placed them throughout the country; helping to ensure particular districts became more heavy with liberal votes once these 'kids' are of voting age.

IF and it likely will happen, DACA, amnesty, asylum, etc. are granted, it will become mathematically impossible for the GOP to win seats.  This has been one of the key reasons for the DEMS push to welcome mass migration; be it through legal or illegal means, it doesn't matter as long as they get to increase their voting base till it is so overwhelming that the GOP and its voting base are no longer relevant.  We will have a one party system and socialism/globalism/no borders will take place.

President Trump is trying to prevent this from happening and the lack of support from those in his own party speaks volumes!

I fear for my children and grandchildren and certainly within my lifetime, I think America will be a country that I will no longer be able to recognize.

Remember, technically speaking, Texas has been a minority-majority state since 2005.

https://blog.chron.com/txpotomac/2010/08/today-in-texas-history-texas-becomes-a-minority-majority-state-2/

So, one could say, the minority votes have been around for a while now. Not that illegals are the ones who would change things. It's homegrown mostly and I guess, if everyone showed up to vote, we would see what would happen.

That said, we know a number of Hispanics and blacks do or can support Cruz or Trump or other Republican politicians, depending on the race.

Perhaps you missed Ann's point and the point I was trying to make. IF we take a look at the numbers Cruz won with originally, those numbers have greatly diminished due to, as Ann put it, our votes being cancelled out because of the increase in the liberal voting base due to the shift in demographics. I don't believe that his popularity decreased, but that the liberal voting base increased.  It is happening all over the country, not just in TX.  Even though there was definite corruption in FL, the margin of GOP victory was very slim. The GOP victory in FL has gone from just over 1% to less than 1/2%.

There has been a push for amnesty for decades.  DACA was created. Asylum is being granted.  Caravan mobs are coming in. Thousands of illegals continue to crossover.  The GOP has held the majority for the past FOUR (4) years and they've done NOTHING!

With a DEM majority now in the House the push will continue for DACA (which the courts have ruled in favor of) amnesty and asylum.  The GOP does hold the Senate, but it is still filled with RINO's. IMHO we are already seeing a push from Romney to upset the Senate majority.  I don't expect any push back whatsoever from them.  McConnell has shown some backbone as of late, but I think that will prove to be short lived.  I'm not sure what to expect from Trump going forward.  I'm not confident that he won't shift more left out of necessity and frustration.

The demographics WILL continue to change, it is just unknown at this point how rapidly and to what extent.  DACA DOES mean that the GOP will be outnumbered so much that they won't hold a majority in either House.  Combine those demographic changes with the number of illegals coming in and asylum seekers and the outlook for one party rule is very favorable.

IF we had a wall, anti-asylum bills already implemented and signed, anti-amnesty bills already implemented and signed, the end of birthright citizenship as well as the end of chain migration, the GOP would have preserved their party and ultimately preserved or Republic. They had a FULL majority for TWO years and they blew it.

The GOP deserves to die and put Trump and his revisionist populism on the grave marker.
Its a UNIParty now and has been for quite awhile, Cruz was their last hope.

@corbe I think you realize that I am a Cruz fan as well, and agree that he was this country's last BEST hope.

When the GOP dies, so will our Republic.  Right now, like him or not, Trump is the GOP's and our Republic's last hope.  Unless some fluke bizarre chain of events happen, he's it.  The fact that the leftists have tried so vehemently to defeat him and he's holding them back by a razor thin line, says something, does it not?

Are you ok with giving up on the last hope that we have to save our Republic?  I believe if we were to ALL stand behind him, we could very well see a positive outcome.  If not, I don't see much hope in 2020 and forward.

Exactly.  I don't know what Coulter has been smoking but Trump isn't really Republican.  He is his own thing.  He has had a mixed administration.  Cohen is a great example of the liberal side of the Trump administration.  Ivanka, Jared, Amarosa...........

Populist is probably correct.
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

He is his own thing.

He's a nationalist that cares about the greatness of our nation, unlike pretty much every Republican in politics. Almost all of them are owned by the internationalists. If Republicans don't elect more people like Trump it's all over.

@libertybele I was on record back in 2015 when he announced, that he was a failed candidate.  He had to much baggage that the dems could use to destroy him and we have seen that for two years, Mueller, bimbo eruptions and now the dems are in a position to subpoena his tax records that he worked so hard to hide from the public.  Sure the GOP is our only hope right now and I hope they succeed but being the cynical ba$tard that I am I just don't see it.  It's not in his wheelhouse to save the defunct GOP, he never liked them anyway, IMHO.

That's a load of BS @corbe   Both parties have changed in the last 40 or 50 years; the democrat party has changed more than the Republican party.  I've just been watching that 'Clinton years' special and Billy had much more garbage in his past than Trump has.  The only difference is that Clinton was just an Arkansas hillbilly and not a public figure.  He was totally corrupt with a wife who was even worse.

Trump does not have to 'save' the Republican Party to be successful.  He is successful by being a practical defender of America as a sovereign nation; by appointing a fair judiciary and by helping to establish a fair trade balance with other countries.

He IS the Republican Party right now.  You probably had little respect for the last two Republican presidents who were good men and good Republicans.  Admit it.

So, do you want a Bush type Republican??  I wouldn't mind but that wouldn't work with the present day democrats.

Stop whining and get on the train.

I've not been a fan of Trump's, but Mueller hasn't come up with anything other than bogus charges and the DEMS have used bimbo eruptions on several  of the GOP ... so I can't really say that those make him a failure, but rather the DEMS have stopped at nothing to try to destroy him and anyone who supports him.  That indicates to me (at least on the surface) that he is a threat to their existence. That is why I would rather stand behind him and support him then refuse to give him any credit.

Both parties are defunct,  and so far it seems he has tilted more to the right than the left.  I believe he is a patriot and sees the destruction to this country and is trying to resolve some serious issues.  He has had some success in curtailing the corruption of the left which has caused their corruption to surface and go into overdrive.  We have corruption within both parties and have a corrupt DOJ; that is not Trump's fault. He's one person fighting decades of corruption. Keep in mind that Cruz has supported him on occasion.  That speaks volumes.

One can either support Trump in his attempts to stop the left or allow the left to destroy the only person standing between them and the destruction of our Republic.  Nope, I still don't can't say that I trust him completely, but I can say that I definitely don't trust the leftists. Nor can I say that I support him on every issue, but if he can successfully build a wall, curb illegal immigration, asylum and end chain migration, we might have a shot.  Chances of that, I realize are slim to none.  However, he's in the driver seat right now.

The difference between the two parties is almost non existent, other than the Judge thing which is important and Trump/McConnell are making a significant dent there, otherwise it's non existent.
My disappointment is generally at the political party system in America, not Trump specifically, though he owns half of it.

@corbe   When did that Republican Party you are so nostalgic for exist?  Was it when Reagan was President?  George HW?  George W?  Do you think any of those guys could be elected today?  And would you vote for them?

We had the perfect Republican and people chose Trump instead.  In retrospect, it may have been a good choice for the times we live in.

We live in vulgar times.  The press is both vulgar and totally unfair and biased.  And Trump hands them their ass daily.  I loved Reagan and both Bushes but it was a different time.  We now have unabashed socialists running the democrat party.  Look at what they tried to do to Kavanaugh.  They will stop at nothing.

We need to support Trump if only as a bulwark against the creeping socialism ... which isn't exactly creeping; it's full steam ahead.

There are so many assholes donating internationally and nationally, perhaps you could be a little bit more specific and less sophmoric in your attack of Cruz, or are we next going to hear from you that they are the same ones that funded Cruz's dad in the JFK assassination? Oh, and you left out Cruz's wife and Goldman Sachs, just sayin.

The Koch Brothers and other big Republican donors are pushing for open borders. I think big business has been in on this from both sides for a while; these people don't give a damn about the needs of everyday Americans. Rich business people have an infinite amount of money and influence to gain from open borders. I think our only chance to save the nation is to fight to get money out of politics and then vote for real nationalists that will fight for the needs of Americans. If their money wasn't buying them influence they wouldn't be spending it in politics. We have to stop these people before they take over the world.
