  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
Mounting evidence of voting irregularities has led the North Carolina State Board of Elections to delay certification of the result in the state’s 9th Congressional District and to hold a public hearing to determine the extent of misconduct in a race that was decided by just 905 votes.

By a vote of 7-2, the board voted to hold an evidentiary hearing to address allegations of misconduct in the race between Republican Mark Harris and Democrat Dan McCready.

That hearing will take place on or before December 21.

Funny how when Democrats win the allegation is denied and the vote certified. But the Republican won in this case.
The Republic is lost.

Nothing should surprise us in the political 'circus' arena.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.
