In fact,in MY NSHO,there should be a law that anyone over 75 should not be allowed to hold an important decision-making position. You may still be sharp compared to your contemporaries at 75,but you ain't as sharp as you were at 45.

I once had a bone disorder.  I don't have to imagine the pain, I have first hand experience (it's brain-burning pain).  I found out you can pump Opioids in by the barrel and it dosn't faze the pain.  There is a barrier in the body between the marrow and the rest of your body.

Good advice. I always used just enough to get my post surgical pain down to a 1 out of 10, never zero.  That way I could be sure I never over-dosed it.  As for the pre-surgical pain, no amount could get the pain below 5, so I tolerated it.

McCain was not a Republican. McCain was as much a Republican as Flake is now. I know he ran on the Republican ticket, but he was a true, faithful, Democrat. The program that is being reran at 3 AM on their local PBS station means more to them than the survival of America. Destroying America as an independent nation is their number 1 goal in life because their goal is a One World Socialist Government,with THEM in charge.

They HAVE to be in charge because the people in charge are the only ones that don't have to live under a Socialist system IN  a Socialist system. Sacrificing is for "little people",not them.

Court says Justice Ginsburg up and working after surgery

WASHINGTON (AP) — Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is up and working as she recuperates from cancer surgery.

A spokeswoman for the court, Kathy Arberg, also says that Ginsburg remained in New York at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center on Sunday. No information has been released on when Ginsburg might return home.

Ginsburg underwent surgery Friday to remove two malignant growths in her left lung. Doctors say there is no evidence of any remaining disease. ...  AP News

Well...if that is RBG...she was quite lovely in her day.

I don't agree with her in any way but I have to admire her stamina.  And if I got a diagnosis like she got, yet again, at her age...it would be hard to give up my job.  It would be like giving up. I worked with a lady with ovarian cancer.  She came to work, on time, during harsh chemo and did her job...until she couldn't.  She said the job kept her going.

I admire RBG, don't agree with her at all, she's much fairer than her liberal champions, and was a lovely person and a champion of female rights in an era when women truly had it going against them. I certainly wouldn't wish cancer on my worst enemy.

That being said, to be in your mid-80's and have cancerous growth removed from your lungs is simply not a good sign.
