How was this race even this close?  I just don't get it!  I just looked at our early voting results for our little central texas town....  Cruz 78%.  I guess living in the buckle of the bible belt has it's benefits.

All the money Robert Francis Twitchy O'Rourke  spent had an affect on the liberal big cities.

@DB  I'm moving out of Phoenix, going to Mohave County.

I know. Is that a more conservative area of AZ?

Yeah I saw that after I made my post. Thanks for filling in the gaps I wasn’t aware of.

Looks like a red wave in the Senate, and a normal midterm in the House.

That FoxNews call before polls in CA were even closed should result in some sort of fine.

I think the results shouldn't be released until all are in.

I am so relieved that Cruz won. I am utterly exhausted.

That makes two of us.  Sure will be a fine birthday present when it over ... I'm still holding my breath 'til all the counting is done!

Turned off by "Trump and conservatism", where was the conservatism? It wasn't in the huge deficit spending. It wasn't in paying lip service to building the wall. It wasn't in failing to repeal Obamacare.

Exactly. There were some very important promises made that weren’t kept and the voters in the GOP aren’t happy about it.

It was in the media reporting of how horribly conservative the moderate GOP is.

Yep. Democrats started downplaying the blue wave a few weeks ago. They could see winning the House, but they would not hold it by much.   But watch..   If Republicans gains seats in the Senate, and Dems only hold Congress by a couple of seats, they will claim it a huge victory.

House is about 2/3rd done and Dems need 10 more.  Would REALLY be nice if we could flip one.

Yes, redistricting is important, but this is more than that.  This is (populous) Philly suburban Republicans turning their backs and voting Democrat.

The Philthy suburbs have been barely GOP for years. It's all NJ transplants who are fleeing high taxes to move to PA to vote for high taxes. The 15th district that turned into the the 7th went Rat because it put all the Lib cities into it. Even though, drunk driving Pat Browne squeaked another one out. All my local elections went the way they always do so precincts stayed the same in the ABE area.

If anyone is interested......... here in Ohio with 90% of the votes in.....

Governor and Lieutenant Governor
Candidate   Votes   % of Votes
Rebecca Ayres and Anthony Durgans (WI)*    0      0.00%
Richard Cordray and Betty Sutton (D)   1,775,793      45.31%
Mike DeWine and Jon Husted (R)   2,030,427      51.80%

Richard Duncan and Dennis A. Artino (WI)*    0      0.00%
Constance Gadell-Newton and Brett R. Joseph (G)   43,343      1.11%
Travis M. Irvine and J. Todd Grayson (L)   70,073      1.79%
Renea Turner and Keith Colton (WI)*    0      0.00%
Total Votes Cast   3,919,636

Not a fan of DeWine, Husted is good, but Cordray and Sutton would have been absolute disasters.

My Republican Congressman won, our despicable Senator (D) Sherrod Brown is winning, and our State Senate is staying red.

Character still matters.  It always matters.

Broward county and Miami-Dade county (FL) -- now being counted.  Not good folks -- typically very heavy DEM.

Broward and Dade already mostly counted.  I think it's statistically improbable that Gillum or Nelson win tonight.

What type of time warp do you guys in Ohio live in? Kasich? DeWine? Are you guys going to vote for Clinton, Dole and Gingrich in your next elections?
