Broward county and Miami-Dade county (FL) -- now being counted.  Not good folks -- typically very heavy DEM.

Then Hawley's making up ground.  Fingers crossed.

Per CNN:

Hawley    60.2%   596,597
McCaskill    36.5%   361,760

44%

Republicans GAIN in the Senate....and we're gonna love that red wall in very short order.

Perhaps the most important result of the evening.  It means that judicial nominations will continue to be confirmed notwithstanding the democrats.

The House would have been nice, but the Senate is crucial.  The judges who get confirmed by this GOP Senate will be around for decades.

I am so relieved that Cruz won. I am utterly exhausted.

Relieved he won too, but it is extremely concerning that he only won over a criminal socialist by such a very narrow margin.

How bizarre would that be if ABC turned out to be more accurate than Fox in this election?

Of course it did. You forget about the magic redistricting map? You see now why Soros groups are dumping money into state SC races now?

Coming to a state near you.

Redistricting is a scapegoat...this is in individual precincts.  I'm looking at precincts that I know from working with the campaigns and as a former Judge of Elections, and I'm seeing the flip of precincts that weren't redistricted, which happened at a higher level.

Yes, redistricting is important, but this is more than that.  This is (populous) Philly suburban Republicans turning their backs and voting Democrat.

It was nice of the PA Supreme Court to oversee the redistricting that made this possible.

@txradioguy
I'm talking individual precincts, not the redistricting.

It's lots of crossover by moderate Republicans who get turned off by Trump and conservatism.  What used to be solid GOP precincts are now voting 2:1 Dem.

Bullshit. Philthy got the buses and walking around money rolling and the Rat Gov got his dream Lib court appointed redistricting.

Don't forget that Robert Francis Twitchy O'Rourke's past was mostly scrubbed. His adoring fans never heard of it. He also blew $100million of Soros and foreign money on his campaign. Cruz had a fraction of the money. Twitchy is being investigated by the FEC for his illegal donations.

Hearing FOX/MSM execs asked to "push" Dem House takeover spin to "depress" GOP turnout on West Coast, especially in Cali.

I also heard what we are seeing is a blue trend but NOT a blue wave.

That's a good description.

Trump lost some races, and won some races.  Most, probably not the margin of victory.

But the trend is long-term leftward drift.

Turned off by "Trump and conservatism", where was the conservatism? It wasn't in the huge deficit spending. It wasn't in paying lip service to building the wall. It wasn't in failing to repeal Obamacare.
