Versus her opponent Ms. McSally.   How cute "Girl Next Door" can you get?

Good job.  Thought you might like this snippet I pulled from today's AP........

Sinema needs Republicans like Horsford if she’s to win on Tuesday. A onetime Green Party activist, Sinema transformed herself into a centrist Democrat.

Does anyone with an IQ of above 10 there think that is plausible?
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

The Rats have been pouring massive amounts of cash into this race.  McSally had been keeping up with the media buys until late last week, when the ads stopped.  I'm seeing them on again since last night.  With the assistance of the willing Press (the newspapers in Tucson and Phoenix endorsed Sinema), it seems hardly anybody knows about her history of radicalism, like when she encouraged people to join the Taliban shortly after 9/11.

It's great being retired.  I got to the polls between the people voting before going to work and the old folks waiting for the rain to stop.  More poll workers than voters when I arrived.  In and out in ten minutes and most of that time was spent chatting with a woman I know who was serving as elections judge.  In my small town, voting is more of a social event.  Most people here are Democrats, so voting is a no-brainer and doesn't take long at all.

Voted 'off hours' and there was no line. The polls are open from 6 A.M. to 9 P.M. in New York and that helps with keeping the lines down.

The Conservative line was the same as the Republican line so I voted straight Conservative to send a message. Except for a guy who ran unopposed for State Supreme Court Justice on the Democratic, Conservative and Independence lines. I left that blank.

We might very well carry Ferguson.  A huge percentage of the rioters had been bused in, and the locals know that.  The locals also realize that "Hands up! Don't shoot!" was a completely false meme.  (After all, it was a local grand jury that no-billed the deputy in the shooting of Michael Brown-- based on seven black witnesses flatly contradicting Brown's thug buddy.)

Final #Florida poll from the @Trafalgar_Group, the only polling firm that had Trump winning Pennsylvania and Michigan in 2016.  #ElectionDay

Governor
• Ron DeSantis:  50%
• Andrew Gillum: 46.6%

Senate
• Rick Scott: 49%
• Bill Nelson: 47.3%

My Floridian brother thinks DeSantis and Scott will win. I sure hope so.

I won't be able to sleep until I know.  Just heard that DEM Gillum wants to implement a State Tax!!  OMG!!  How oh how can people be voting for this clown??  He will destroy this state!  He'll be worse that Chiles (in office when we moved here over 27 years ago).  Nelson, I can deal with though I'd love to see Scott take it.  It's the governor's seat I'm extremely worried about.

I'm also worried about TX.

It's going to be a long long night folks.

Our state legislature is Republican, and solidly Republican.  Gillum's not going to do shit, even if he wins, and I'm calling it now, he ain't going to win.

We should get a heads up as to direction pretty fast, the Donnelly-Braun Senate race in Indiana will have some of the first returns. Not sure where KY-6 is at but if its eastern that will be another one.

Add: looks like it is the eastern half.

@Free Vulcan KY-6 is the Frankfort Lexington and Richmond area of central Kentucky.

Menendez thanks Trump for endorsing his opponent

That has a serious chance to bite him in the ass. Rats don't vote in NJ if it rains. It is a well known fact in the Northeast. It is raining like a son of a bitch today in NJ.

Texas judge orders some polling locations to stay open due to long lines

By Megan Keller - 11/06/18 06:21 PM EST

A judge in Harris County, Texas, ordered nine polling locations to stay open an extra hour to accommodate long lines.

The locations will have to stay open until 8 p.m. local time, according to the court order.

Voters in Texas are heading to the polls to cast ballots that will decide, among other things, whether Sen. Ted Cruz (R) will serve another six-year term in the Senate. He faces a tight race with Democratic challenger Rep. Beto O'Rourke.

The Lone Star State is not the only place struggling with long lines at the polls.

I think this is SOP in Harris County but I could be wrong @Victoria33 would know for sure.
