Media urge audiences to vote Democrat

Just days ahead of the midterm elections, some journalists and cable news personalities are explicitly calling on their audiences to vote for Democrats to take control of Congress to put a check on President Trump.

MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Mika Brzezinski cast the election in apocalyptic terms Thursday morning.

“If you want a slight check on this man, and his unrelenting race to the finish here to make sure he can continue destroying this country, you might want to vote all ‘D,’ even if it’s not your party, this time around,” she said Thursday. “It might be worth it.”

Washington Post columnist Max Boot, a former Republican who opposes Trump, wrote Wednesday: “If you’re as sick and tired as I am of being sick and tired about what’s going on, vote against all Republicans. Every single one. That’s the only message they will understand.”

After the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting that left 11 people dead and several more injured, Post columnist Eugene Robinson criticized Republicans who said “both sides” should temper down their political rhetoric and laid the blame squarely on the GOP.

And if we want to return to the days of objective, quality journalism, we need to vote against Democrats.  Every single one.

I check in on CNN and MSNBC when I can stomach it. There is no such thing as a factual report any longer. All innuendo, vitriol, and opinion. They aren't news organizations any longer.
Principles matter. Words matter.

Democrat pols and their allies in the media are remarkably silent about the invasion from south of the border.
What exactly do they believe....anybody who wants to enter the country should be allowed to do so? The prospect of doubling the population in the next ten years with tens of millions of illiterate, unskilled leeches does not bother them?
Who knows.
They talk about compassion and pity for the illegals, but I don't hear any of them volunteering to house the invaders in any of their multiple, spacious mansions.
What are they bellyaching about?....the unemployment rate is near historic lows?....more people than ever have jobs?
More likely their plans for an western European-style socialist country have been put on hold for a while.
I regard all Dem pols and virtually everybody in the media as scoundrels.
