I get so tired of talking to illogical lefties about immigration. Yeah, let's do universal healthcare and government paid college all while holding the door open for the poor of the world to run in for a slice. I just want to complain to some people that see reason on this issue. I actually talked to somebody just today that thought it would be okay to allow immigration of up to 5% of our population annually. That would be about 18 million immigrants this year alone, most of whom would be poor and never contribute to the Federal Income Tax. That same person wants massive social safety nets for all people in the United States. Are these people completely bleep insane?
When confronted they deflect with things like "Oh, but they're struggling! They need our help!"
That's not the freaking point. Holy hell. Do they ever stop feeling for a moment so they can stop and think about the limitations of what they want to do?
