Carl Bernstein: Trump preparing to call midterm elections 'illegitimate' if Democrats take power

Journalist Carl Bernstein said Sunday that President Trump has discussed ways to challenge the results of the midterm elections if the GOP's grasp on power slips.

During an appearance on CNN, Bernstein said his sources relayed this information to him on Friday, warning that Trump has talked about a disruption campaign if the results are close but have the Democrats taking control of the House or Senate.

"I talked to people ... in touch with the White House on Friday who believe that, if the congressional midterms are very close and the Democrats were to win by five or seven seats, that Trump is already talking about how to throw legal challenges into the courts, sow confusion, declare a victory actually, and say that the election's been illegitimate," Bernstein said after being asked if Trump's challenge to fraudulent voters was a form of voter suppression.

"That is really under discussion in the White House," he added.

Well if you read stuff from folks involved with WaPo when Watergate broke, Carl was not the important player Woodward was. He was said to be lazy and just along for the ride. Considering Boob is still cranking out books and Carl hasn't done shit in 45 years, the scuttlebutt was true.

That would be a good thing. The Democrats are the Kings of voter fraud. If they question the results, a third of Democrat votes would be disqualified if scrutinized and verified.

Beside that, Trump is not planning to declare the elections illegitimate anyway. Everyone knows that Trump is planning to declare Martial Law, mobilize the military in the streets, and override the election results by installing his own people. These guys are thinking too small.

BTW, wasn't it, two year long hissy fit, crybaby Hillary, who said that she was afraid Trump would not accept the results of the election?

Woodward was basically a "cub reporter" who had to have a senior reporter to get people to believe him.  Bernswine was literally "along for the ride."  Even the schmaltzy "All the Presidents Men" movie showed that.
