Watch–Ted Cruz to DACA Illegal Alien: ‘Violating the Laws Have Consequences’

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) — running to keep his U.S. Senate seat against Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX) — told an illegal alien enrolled in the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program that DACA illegal aliens are not above U.S. immigration law.
Rather than backing down to the DACA illegal alien when asked about the Obama program that federal courts have blocked President Trump from ending, Cruz said those enrolled in DACA must also follow U.S. immigration law.
