Three troops wounded in suicide bombing at Bagram Air Field

KABUL — A bomb blast wounded three servicemembers near Bagram Air Field on Wednesday afternoon.
Afghan officials said the attack occurred at about 4 p.m. near one of Bagram’s gates.
The bomber attacked a patrol, said a U.S. military spokesman with Resolute Support in Kabul. The nationalities of the three wounded servicemembers were not provided.
The Taliban in a statement claimed responsibility for the attack.
