GRAPHIC: Cartel Silences Media after Murder of Former Mexican Border City Mayor

Nuevo Laredo is immediately south of Laredo, Texas, and is one of the main drug trafficking and human smuggling corridors used by the Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas. The lack of physical barriers, the large-scale international flow of legitimate goods, and the holes in border security give Los Zetas plenty of cover to be able to smuggle thousands of immigrants and ton-quantities of drugs with ease. Since the area is highly lucrative, Los Zetas cartel members fought tooth and nail to keep rival cartels out of the region.

Cortes Villada served as mayor of Nuevo Laredo from 1990 to 1992 and had since become a private businessman. He ran a customs brokerage business and for a time owned the local news outlets Los Dos Laredos and Ultima Hora. He later sold those two newspapers to a man named Benjamin Galvan Gomez, who was kidnapped and murdered in 2014.

With Cartels in Control, There are No Easy Answers to the Border Crisis

http://thefederalist.com/2018/06/26/cartels-no-easy-answers-border-crisis/

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

Cartel operate on both sides of the border.  These violent criminals are free to operate their drug smuggling and human trafficking business with little resistance from our government.  Their murderous tactics are no less than the violence of ISIS, which brought moral outrage of the world.  In Mexico beheadings and severed limbs are common occurrences.  This isn’t thousands of miles away.  This is just across our border and inside our border.  We are essentially complacent in border crime and the threat of this crime to our own citizens who live in border towns like Laredo Texas.

For some unknown reason we have not acknowledged our duty to our country according to our Constitution to protect ourselves from invasion.  Make no mistake it is an invasion.   Mexico has no functioning police force.  It is a tremendous threat to our country which is being ignored.

Our military should be at our borders protecting Americans from the spillover of Drug Cartel violence.

AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

THIS is how the Israelis "separate themselves" from terrorists:

It's how we should protect ourselves from the Mexican terrorist-cartels who run that failed state...

And in the meantime we should deploy these.
