Adolf Hitler said, "If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed."
That quote, and one can look it up themselves, it also seems attributed to Goebbels or else, the two said similar things but that quote also came to my mind in all of this. How big were the lies getting with Kavanaugh? The rape train? It seemed there was no limit to the mudslinging.
And, one can not even talk to leftists about this, at least 85-90% of them. They are unhinged and believed a lot of this garbage that was thrown out.
Who said - “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed"?
How does it relate to our situation today?
Best Answer: Lenin and repeated by Joseph Geobbles, Hitler;s information officer.
...
It is credited to Joseph Geobbels, Hitler's Propaganda Minister. It was not Hitler who said it.
The complete quote is:
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.â€
- Joseph Goebbels
Hitler did say a similar thing, but not as eloquently:
“Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe itâ€.

So, most people and I was one, thought Hitler said it. I only looked it up to get the exact wording, not caring about who said it.
