So..........even better....can we talk homemade biscuits and gravy? We had brunch out yesterday and the biscuits and gravy were superb. Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. The biscuits were enormous -- about 2 1/2 inches round and 2 inches thick, with delicious mouthwatering sausage gravy...with soft scrambled eggs. I got a to-go-box for the leftovers. Not sure how they are going to reheat.
I have never ever had good biscuits and gravy from a restaurant anywhere. I will try it once, even though I know better... and then I know I knew better, and will order brown gravy instead from then on...
Now that i am kosher(ish), the opportunity will surely not present itself, as finding non-pork sausage at a restaurant is simply not possible, so either beef gravy, or be satisfied to make it at home.
