It was this week two years ago that Hillary Clinton’s victory looked assured, when the infamous “Access Hollywood” tape of Donald Trump bragging about sexual assault appeared all but certain to end his campaign.

Jesse Ferguson remembers it well. The deputy press secretary for Clinton’s campaign also remembers what happened a month later.

It’s why this veteran Democratic operative can’t shake the feeling that, as promising as the next election looks for his party, it might still all turn out wrong.

“Election Day will either prove to me I have PTSD or show I’ve been living déjà vu,” Ferguson said. “I just don’t know which yet.”

Could? More like Is. A number of races are shifting GOP, some wildly.
The Republic is lost.

They should be nervous.... and even the least self-aware ones should know that they have (per usual) gone off the rails re: their insanity.  I suspect that they'll be doubling down on their chanting, spells and voodoo rituals between now and then....lolol.

Fact # 1:  It would be normal for the midterm, for the GOP to lose some ground

Fact #2:  Since 2008 and Obama's arrival and impact, the dems have lost a vast amount of political power, Federal and statelegislatures, governorships,, etc.

Trump regained the Presidency plus added twice to the Supreme Court and lower federal courts.

If violence in the streets is the best answer the new leftists have, I doubt the US will fall to violent internal terrorism.
