Havana, Oct 6 (Prensa Latina) Cuban authorities and citizens are remembering today with a pilgrimage to the capital Necropolis of Colon, the attack committed on October 6, 1976, off the coast of Barbados, against a commercial plane of the island in flight.

Cuba and the families of the victims strongly condemn the crime, in which 73 people lost their lives (57 Cubans, 11 Guyanese and five Koreans).

On repeated occasions, the Caribbean nation denounced that the international terrorist Luis Posada Carriles, the mastermind of the attack, lived peacefully and enjoyed protection in the United States until his death, without even regretting the crimes committed.
