A tip:
When faced with a site like that, one thing that often works for me is to disable javascript in your browser.

This generally "stops all the popups" in their tracks. You may not see -all- the content of the page, but you'll see all the text, probably most of the pics, and be able to read it without distraction.

I'm on a Mac, and this is easy with Safari:
- In Safari preferences/advanced, put a check in "show develop menu in menu bar".
- In the Develop menu, choose "Disable Javascript"
- I added a keyboard command "command-j" to do this, as well.

Not sure how browsers in Windows permit the user to disable javascript.

But this works for me.
Give it a try.

Most folks run an adblocker - AdBlockPlus or UBlock - Both of which are great... And many run a script blocker - I use NoScript - which allows no script at all from any website until you allow it... Either temporarily (by session) or more permanently for sites you trust.

Adblockers (I use them myself) will not disable javascript, which can produce effects which cannot be suppressed by "adblocking"....

Yes, but scriptblockers do - Not just javascript - ALL script.

No JavaScript on my MacBookPro, but was reading on iPad. Don’t use Windows anymore.
