Cook Political Report shifts three Senate races toward Republicans

The Cook Political Report, a nonpartisan election handicapper, shifted three Senate races in favor of Republicans as well as one Senate race toward Democrats less than five weeks out from the midterm elections.

Cook moved Senate races in Montana, Nebraska and New Jersey all in favor of Republicans. Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) faces one of the most competitive race this cycle, which was shifted from "lean Democratic" to "toss-up." Tester is running against state auditor Matt Rosendale (R) in a state where President Trump won by double-digits in 2016.

Jennifer Duffy, a Senate race analyst at Cook Political Report, said Tester initially looked likely to sail to reelection with a comfortable lead in polling and Rosendale facing a crowded primary. Duffy noted that the fight over Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's nomination is energizing the GOP base, though she still gives Tester a slight advantage in the toss-up race.

Tester is an idiot.  Daines has provided him a golden opportunity to score some points with Montana voters.  Since their votes are going to cancel out anyway, Tester should offer to abstain from the Kavanaugh vote and give Daines the opportunity to enjoy his daughter's wedding.   That way, Tester's non-vote still cancels out Daines non-vote.  And it makes him look like a decent guy to Montana parents with daughters.

Alas, Democrat Hate is too strong.  Pure spite will prevent Tester from relinquishing his vote against Kavanaugh.

The leaders of the Democommie Party are leading it right into the weeds, totally out of control.  The red tsumani they created will continue to grow and be devastating by election day.

With Trump being critical of Pelosi, Schumer, and POSs like Blumenthal, who ran for office as a senator claiming he fought in Vietnam, yet the truth is that he was never there.  Trump should be demanding that maggot's impeachment from the Senate.  And the idiocy of Feinstein, and the never ending harping of idiots like Maxine Waters will ensure a huge Republican victory come November.

While I believe the Republicans gain a net of four seats in the Senate, it will still be a struggle to get anything done in the Senate, for they need 60 votes, and the abdicative Democommies refuse to do the job they were elected to do.  Their resistance movement will go down in history as one of the dumbest political stunts ever.  They will just keep losing power.  Amen!
