Heitkamp to vote 'no' on Kavanaugh

Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.) said on Thursday that she will oppose Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

"The process has been bad ... I will be voting 'no' on Judge Kavanaugh," Heitkamp told North Dakota radio station, WDAY.

Heitkamp, who is running for reelection, was one of three Democrats to support Neil Gorsuch, President Trump's first Supreme Court nominee.

Heitkamp, who is running for reelection in a state Trump won in 2016, has been tightlipped about her thinking on Kavanaugh, declining to speak with reporters on Wednesday or Thursday.

The decision marks a shift for Heitkamp, who was one of three Democrats to support Gorsuch. Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) has announced his opposition to Kavanaugh, while Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) remains undecided.

I thought Yes has 49 votes... so it almost sounds like they have the 50th vote in Collins. That is not assured. They said though Flake and Collins are satisfied with the investigation.

McCaskill has already said she will definitely oppose Kavanaugh.  Hawley can almost start his celebration dance.

I think Collins will be a yes.  Flake...who knows.  I could easily see him voting no just because Coons convinces him that a yes vote would strengthen Trump.

It may come down to Murkowski.  Gingrich said he thinks the two women will both vote yes.

That's pure emotion.  All she needs to hear is a "story", and she's sold on guilt.  Someone should accuse her husband and see if she still feels the same.

Maybe Flake learned from Trump.   The new rule is the more irresponsible and outrageous one acts, the more press one gets.  The more press one gets, the more the enemies of the the people one pissed off hear about it, and become passionate and aroused for the one.  Even if one talks like a fag.
