France’s most-wanted fugitive evaded police by wearing a burqa

Oct 4, 2018 9:36 am By Robert Spencer

Probably it was a niqab, since the niqab is more common in the West than the burqa and the Western media constantly conflates the two. In any case, this story shows yet again that banning face veils is a security issue. Nonetheless, it is always overwhelmed by charges of “Islamophobia.”

“Rédoine Faïd case: French gangster evaded police in burqa,” BBC, October 3, 2018:

France’s most-wanted fugitive Rédoine Faïd was tracked down by police through phone-taps and was discovered using a burqa as a disguise, prosecutors say.
