Keith Ellison considering stepping down from DNC post

Democratic National Committee deputy chairman Keith Ellison, who has been accused of domestic abuse by his ex-girlfriend, is weighing stepping down from his position at the DNC.
Ellison said he needed to focus on his upcoming race for Minnesota attorney general in November, and said he was “considering†resigning during an interview with WCCO Radio on Wednesday.
"You know, I've been evaluating that recently, so we'll see," Ellison said. "I need to put 100 percent of my time, energy and resources into the race and my office, so it is something I am considering."
