Envelopes ‘containing ricin’ intercepted at the Pentagon

Two envelopes believed to contain ricin poison have been sent to the Pentagon. They have been turned over to the FBI for further analysis, officials said today, after they were found at a mail screening facility.

One envelope was addressed to Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, who is traveling in Europe this week, and the other to the Navy’s top officer, Adm. John Richardson, a defense official said. (reissued 02 October 2018). Two pieces of mail delivered to the Pentagon mail facility on Monday have initially tested positive for ricin, according to US defense officials.

They should have sent the envelopes to an independent testing place as the FBI is busy with important sh*t like investigating "collusion" with Russia, overthrowing the government, and investigating the vicious Kavanaugh incident of throwing ice at someone.
