Children’s Hospital Drops Gender Markers From Kids’ Wristbands

Children’s Hospital Colorado removed markers identifying patients’ gender from its wristbands to support children’s “unique gender identity,†Fox News reports.
The hospital said that its workers understand it is “not easy growing up with an expansive gender identity or expression,†and “believe
gender-diverse children need a stable support system as they navigate their transition.â€
“We are seeing more and more patients who have diverse gender identities,†Dr. Natalie Nokoff told KUSA. “I think that’s true of programs all across the United States.â€
