The hearing started an hour ago, the investigation started nearly 2 weeks ago, the allegations were first submitted 2 months ago, and we are yet to be shown a single piece of corroborating evidence of the charges against Kavanaugh. We still don't know in which YEAR this happened.

Could be a mixture of truth... maybe she was assaulted and just figured Brett was involved since he's in the news as such a bad guy.

Ford sent texts to the Washington Post on  July 6th? We don't get to see them. Wrote the letter to DiFi herself. In Delaware when she wrote the letter, apparently flew there.

Yes, her story keep changing and she has no corroborating evidence whatsoever, but that won't matter much. Her inaccuracies will be chalked up to how traumatic the experience was.

Ford's goal is to appear sympethetic. Kavanaugh has to appear like a man of such towering character that his accuser is, at best, honestly mistaken for naming him. That's like a football game where one side is spotted four touchdowns before the kickoff.

And at this point, all she really has to do is avoid perjury and appear sympathetic at the hearing. Dems will wave the phony "corroborating statements" (every single major media outlet instantly called them that programming the public mind) and demand further investigation.
