Beijing’s reliance on overseas sources for its 36,000-word white paper on the trade war is an attempt to convince an international audience that China is a victim in the dispute and the true defender of free trade, observers said.

Of the paper’s 88 footnotes, only a handful cite China’s National Bureau of Statistics or Ministry of Commerce, with the vast majority referring to overseas research, think tanks and analysts, from former US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers to specialists at the Peterson Institute for International Economics in Washington.

Analysts said that using respected US and other foreign sources to make its argument strengthened the intended appeal of the document, which was also released in eight languages.

It’s coming from an educational system that’s privileging excellence, concentrating on science and technology,” the white paper quoted Summers from an interview with CNBC in June.

Well first off the reason the Chinamen quoted Larry Summers is because he is a Commie Pinko who was around when Clinton gave them all that missile tech from Loral. Secondly all you have to do is look at the so called Chinamen developed products they claimed they engineered themselves to see they are total rip offs of other countries intellectual property....

 As president, Bill Clinton essentially wiped out any strategic advantage the U.S. had by selling advanced U.S. missile technology to our enemy, the People’s Republic of China.

That “administration’s voluntary release of all the secrets of America’s nuclear tests, combined with the systematic theft of the secrets that were left as a result of its lax security controls, effectively wiped out America’s technological edge,” David Horowitz writes in the recently published, The Black Book of the American Left Volume 7: The Left in Power: Clinton to Obama.

Unlike the administrations that preceded it, the Clinton administration accepted millions of dollars from the military and intelligence services of at least one hostile foreign power. All of this was done in exchange for illegal campaign contributions from a massive totalitarian country determined to eclipse the U.S. as a world superpower.
