Six FBI investigations into Kavanaugh's background already. You have to remember, those are very extensive for something like this to slip by??
When I was in high school my parents became guardians for a young man 4 years older than myself. My Dad signed so he could go in the Navy early. He was out of the Navy in time for the two of us to start college together. Stoney took a brotherly and sometimes annoying interest in who I was dating, but I freely admit he saved my some grief in those days. We became fast friends. He worked as a DC police officer. Had shoot someone on duty and when they gave him leave, he went to my parents home in Virginia for his leave. He called my parents "Mom and Dad'. He took the same brotherly and somewhat annoying interest in who my younger sister was dating. He went on to work in the Federal government and had several clearances. Like clockwork, when it was security clearance renewal time, the FBI would show up at my door over the next 3 decades. They would always ask me about the nature of my relationship with Stoney. They were always persistent and sometimes hostile in their questioning. Same with my younger sister. Finally, I asked an agent, "Would you quit asking these same asinine questions if Dad were to actually adopt Stoney?". Agent told me that they just needed to be sure Stoney wasn't subject to blackmail that might make him a security risk. I find it hard to believe that the FBI hasn't questioned everyone whose name has been associated with Judge Kavanaugh at least once in the six times they've investigated him
