I can answer that - we all continue to call our congresscritters and tell them to vote for Kavanaugh and he gets appointed and rules against rampant leftism for the whole time he's on the court. Not quite equivalent to getting his reputation restored, but it's a good second.

This guy is a sitting Appellate Court judge who has a lifetime position.

If anyone needs to be investigated by the FBI, let's look into the affairs of Senator Murkowski who mysteriously did not cut it in the GOP primary yet somehow managed to score a win as a writein candidate.

With the push to get FBI involvement it seems there is more involved
than just the delay.

If the FBI retains a mole(s), that would explain it. A Comey placement
that still survives.

We have to go through the FBI and eliminate anyone of even marginal
character. Certainly those advancing in the last decade or so.

Better to start over with a new agency and ban anyone in the current
FBI from entering the new.

Now you see, as much as the Senate GOP ticks me off, why I want to end up with 55 or more seats after the election. With Flake, Corker, and McCain gone, that leaves Collins and Murkowski. 6+ senators would be much harder to peel off than 2 without enraging the base.
