Donald Trump has destroyed the Republican party and polarized American politics, former Democratic Congressman Charles Rangel, who left office in 2017, has said.

During an interview with radio host John Catsimatidis, Rangel said that while he was in office he had friends on both sides of the political aisle and he’s never seen the polarization that’s occurring today.

“It’s a terrible thing that happens because it doesn’t give Americans the opportunity to vote on the issues,” he explained. “It’s for Trump or against Trump.”

Rangel says he will never vote Republican again!!!

Both parties have failed the American people.  The people voted for Trump as they no longer wanted a Washington insider.  They were sick of being lied to, listening to the blame game and watching a horse and pony show that consisted of nothing more than smoke and mirrors.

I voted against Clinton because I don't like where she stands on the issues.

One response I have had, is "GOOD".....not exactly but parts of it likely need it. We could be seeing the last days of the "liberal" wing of the Republican party, the Flakes and so on. Not with Murkowski and Collins though, we'll have to watch them.
