Lindsey Graham: Chairman Grassley has ‘bent over backward’ to accommodate Christine Blasey Ford

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her decades ago, will be treated “fairly†when she testifies in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee. But Graham, a member of that panel, emphasized that not all of her lawyers’ demands will be met.
The committee and Ford’s lawyers reached a tentative deal on Saturday for the California professor to testify about her allegation on Thursday, following several days of negotiations between the two parties, with Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, extending the deadline for Ford to agree to testifying several times.
“Chairman Grassley has bent over backward to make this happen,†Graham told “Fox News Sunday.†“The offer is Thursday at 10 o’clock. She made 10 conditions through her lawyer, we accepted six.â€
