When the puppets won't cooperate: CNN surprised by women's reaction to Kavanaugh case
By Monica Showalter

It's always tough when the puppets don't behave.

So it seemed when CNN interviewed five women and found that all five supported the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh.

The female interviewer, who was with Anderson Cooper's AC360° team, found that much to her surprise, the Republican women just didn't keep to the script and ended up arguing with them.

Daily Wire reporter Ryan Saavedra posted on Twitter with merriment the frustrating exchange:

What people in the real world know,  and what isn't reported on CNN,  is that even if Ford's charge is true, it still isn't disqualifying.   Teenagers grope and try to get to second base, out of curiosity, awkwardness and inexperience.   If such behavior was disqualifying for public office,  the halls of Congress would be filled with cobwebs.

The whole point of #metoo was not to go after Weinstein, it was to get Trump and other Republicans.

Luckily they picked a group of well-spoken, intelligent people to interview.

I tend to agree.   The tell was the drive to force Al Franken to resign, despite the inconsequential "frat-boy" nature of his deeds.   The Dems want the standard used to "disqualify" Al Franken to be the standard applied to Republicans.

I don't know about that.  Seems whoever is behind this "movement" is after a lot of different enemies.  Doesn't seem to be any consistency, anything necessarily in common among the accused.

What's really funny is how many of those being accused are Hollywood types and of those, most are liberals.  The accused all "did the right things" -- they donated to Democrat politicians, they supported far left causes and so on.  But they are being targeted.   Why?
