Quote
MASONTOWN, Pa. —Four people, including a police officer, were injured in a shooting at a crowded district judge's office, and the gunman was shot and killed by police, the Fayette County district attorney said Wednesday.

District Attorney Rich Bower said the man was carrying a handgun as he arrived at the Masontown municipal building, where he was scheduled for a preliminary hearing in front of District Judge Dan Shimshock on assault and strangulation charges in a domestic incident.

Small PA town near the border with West Virginia.  The four gunshot victims are all expected to survive.  Heroism by local police from two departments on display here.  As one official said, these guys didn't run from danger; they ran toward it.  A lot better than the police in the Parkland school shooting.

Sorry @TomSea  Didn't see your thread.  Mods?

It is a major story in Western PA where I live.  Some real heroism here.  One civilian made a tourniquet from his belt to stop the bleeding for one victim. Another civilian blocked the shooter, preventing him from killing his estranged wife.  The small town police were outstanding.
