Trump: I hope voters pay attention to Dem tactics amid Kavanaugh fight

President Trump on Tuesday night said he hopes voters are paying attention to the Democratic "playbook" amid the tumultuous nomination process for his Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, which has recently been plagued by sexual assault allegations.

"The Supreme Court is one of the main reasons I got elected President. I hope Republican Voters, and others, are watching, and studying, the Democrats Playbook," Trump tweeted.

Senate Republicans have been determined to get Kavanaugh confirmed before the November midterm elections, where Democrats are hoping to ride out a "blue wave" and retake both chambers of Congress.

I live in a predominantly Democrat/Socialist/Gimmedat community where voters won't recognize this scam for what it is.  In their world, an accusation means the accused did something wrong.  They pay attention to their leaders who push that belief and the media which encourages it.  After all, if the media is reporting the accusations, they must be true.  Media wouldn't lie to us, would they? 

Can't blame that on a lack of education.  Since I live among Democrats, I have to interact with them.  Most of my friends and relatives are Democrats.  They have educations beyond high school.  Yet, they believe the Democrat lies.

Dems will employ every scare tactic in the book to persuade voters to vote Democrat.  Right now the campaign ads are targeting seniors -- a variation of the old Republicans will push Grandma and her wheelchair off a cliff theme.  Once Judge Kavanaugh is approved, the theme will shift to Republicans hate women and want to take away their rights and want them to die.  I can try to counter the propaganda with my family and friends, but I'm afraid my arguments will fall on deaf ears.

Amen.  I think that illustrates the true depths of fragmentation in this country.  You are rightfully outraged by this, and many on the left are outraged on their side as well.  We don't just disagree a little bit.  The gulf is absolutely massive.

I agree with you that politically, this is a huge self-inflicted wound by the Democrats.  I think it will boost GOP turnout, and is particularly likely to help red state GOP senatorial candidates, because we just got a glimpse of what would happen if Schumer was Majority Leader, and Feinstein chaired the Judiciary Committee.

I'm pleased to see Trump say this as it needs to be said. Why vote for a party that rolls over to lefty aggression rather than fight it?
