Now let’s see if Rosenweasel complies, delays or declares the absence of any of those documents. Noticed no time placed on the directive.

As President, he can grab classified documents by the p***y.  When you’re POTUS, they let you do it.

I wonder if Mueller is keeping a running list of President Trump's Obstruction of Justice.  Time to amend it

Good catch.  I agree all of it.

As with most things Trump, there is always a tweet…..

More than a bit hypocritical to release an incomplete document, if you have an issue with redaction.

According to the statement, Trump declassified 21 pages of the 101-page June 2017 application to obtain a warrant under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or FISA, to monitor the communications of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page in 2016.

Those pages only make up a small part of the 412 pages of FISA applications and warrants related to Page released by the FBI earlier this year in heavily redacted format.

It's a Whitehouse released statement and definitely political.

And yet...

It's late.  Your post is unintelligible but I can see there is some purpose.  My first reaction is rats dared President Moron to release confidential information and the idiot complied.  I assume you posted a picture of rats laughing at President Trump because he is so stupid, yet I feel certain that is not the message you thought you were sending.

Statement from the Press Secretary

Law & Justice

Issued on: September 17, 2018

At the request of a number of committees of Congress, and for reasons of transparency, the President has directed the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to provide for the immediate declassification of the following materials: (1) pages 10-12 and 17-34 of the June 2017 application to the FISA court in the matter of Carter W. Page; (2) all FBI reports of interviews with Bruce G. Ohr prepared in connection with the Russia investigation; and (3) all FBI reports of interviews prepared in connection with all Carter Page FISA applications.

In addition, President Donald J. Trump has directed the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to publicly release all text messages relating to the Russia investigation, without redaction, of James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr.

I remind you that the White House released this today and ask you to try again in the morning.

I will. It's going to take me that long to figure out what your point is, but it seems to be that Trump is a moron for honoring a request of Congress.

Then we'll both have no idea what the other was talking about, and no reason to try harder.  #MAGA

How is releasing full information an obstruction of justice .... or an *obstruction* of anything?

And don't divert to the "national security" bullshit.  The redactions serve no purpose other than to protect political security.  But then again I'm sure you're 100% behind protecting the political viability of your heroes.

Full information?  Is Trump is re-releasing the warrant with no redactions or better redactions?

How is either "obstruction"?  Come on ... you've had time to confer with your socialist compatriots.  What's *their* best guess??

It looks like Congress requested it.  They should have done this a long time ago.

Congress requested some of these docs over a year ago.

Agreed.  Didn't we already see the redacted application from Nunes?  What is the point of this?

*just figured it out.  Deflect attention from Administration failure.

I don't see how you can call this a "joke" prior to seeing the docs.

Someone will sue and a federal judge will cancel ordered release.

Trump is interfering with active investigations by selectively releasing documents.  There.  I spelled it out for you.  Thank me.

The "investigation" has already shown that the FISA warrants were obtained under false premises.  We the people and all that are now being allowed to see the lack of evidence.  How is that "interfering with active investigations"?

Its important to never be dumbstruck by any move the opposition makes.

Always have a response at the ready, it doesn't have to be relevant or accurate or reflective of reality in the least. Figure that stuff out later. In the midst of a politically motivated faux investigation if the other side releases facts which might be embarrassing screaming 'obstruction' is a good placeholder until some other better response can be ginned up.

by selectively releasing documents.

FBI Director James Comey, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, former FBI agent Peter Strzok, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page and Bruce Ohr, a current Justice Department official, are all potential witnesses in Mueller's Russia probe.

From Nunes' original request to DOJ;

A key part of the government’s application to the FISC to surveil Page was an unverified dossier containing salacious allegations about President Trump. The dossier was opposition research paid for by the DNC and Clinton campaign.
“… [W]e respectfully request that you declassify and release publicly, and in unredacted form, pages 10-12 and 17-34, along with all associated footnotes, of the third renewal of the FISA application on Mr. Page,” the letter states. “That renewal was filed in June 2017 and signed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.”

Then there's the whole 'sources and methods' thing.

They know that some of their longtime sources are about to be compromised and likely lost to them!

Very easily. As my post above shows, it is 21 pages of over 400. Each time the warrant was re-submitted for review and extension, additional information was added through intelligence gathered from the previous authorization.  If you don’t see this as cherry picking, you’re not being the least bit objective.

 :silly:

The political environment today is so different from the 2000 presidential election when the Gore campaign released the GWB’s DUI arrest record on the weekend before Election Day. Luckily Bush had a 10 point lead going into the weekend and managed the crisis well, despite the timing of the release.

Today this president is under constant assault from every direction and can’t afford to make any mistakes.

President Trump is too tolerant.  Wray and Rosenswein should have been terminated long ago.

What the FBI did to Carter Page is criminal, and everyone involved should be indicted for a dozen felonies.

Also, when are the judges involved in this fraud in this FISA court going to face the piper?  What they did shows total incompetence.  Why haven't these judges dragged these perps that lied to them before them to answer for their felonious crimes?  They are part of the conspiracy.

I have not heard one word yet questioning these bums.  Long overdue.

UNTIL HR CLINTON IS INDICTED AND CONVICTED, THERE IS NO JUSTICE IN AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!
