I apologize if I came out as derogatory. I have lurked here enough to know you are further to the left than I . I was interested to see what you thought the federal Government should have done since I talk to people about this. That's why I came back to see your reply.
Sadly. your answer was not what I hoped it would be. I was hoping for what you thinkl should have been done, hence my disappointment. Instead it involved "feelings".
IMHO, the local government failed....much like Katrina.
The first responder is the person in the line of fire. It is their responsibility to have supplies for 3 days (or more in this case),
I find it tragic that, much like Katrina, the local officials were inept. During the disaster and before.
If I am in a crunch....I don't want someone who acts like they care. Just send supplies that I need. That seems to have happened. The break down was at a local level. As I said, Katrina Redux.
