The fact that he has made himself a public figure, and pointedly a governmental one, opens him to all criticism. And I will certainly disagree with you @Right_in_Virginia . That he is anywhere near @musiclady in likability, respectability, or Christian charity is a laughable and foregone conclusion, to be rejected out of hand with nothing more than an hearty guffaw.

Thank you, sir!

I would also point out that my "judgment" is not my own, but that of the Creator and Savior, and that I am not following my own dictates or wishes with my words, but only maintaining standards that have existed for millenia.

This President may not be sitting in judgment of @musiclady but he sits in judgment of people all the time and when he sits in judgment of them, it's often by giving them childish nicknames and personally attacking them.  The childishness and personal attacks are nothing I'll ever condone from anyone, but of course, that's just me.

Actually, I'm sure he's sitting in judgment of me, just as he sits in judgment of anyone who didn't vote for him, or doesn't bow down to him.

He proves in every tweet that he is a vindictive judge.  The idea that he is "Christian" in his attitude is a joke.

I've never heard Donald Trump proclaim @musiclady lives an empty and shallow life in comparison to his @roamer_1 .  If he met her the President would most likely congratulate her for living the life she intended.

Musiclady's judgment is unchristian and undeserving of our respect and applause.  This is my opinion, sir. I stand by it and will not change it.  So, let's not spend a Sunday afternoon beating a dead horse.  Let's be adults and agree to disagree.

@INVAR

It's funny isn't it?

In one breath they tell us that we are irrelevant, that we do not matter because we are a subset of a tiny minority - and in the next breath they insist that we alone are responsible for destroying Trump and the country.

That is exactly what blind fealty to a cult of personality/monarch looks like, and most often it is the mechanism that egocentric dictatorial madmen rise upon to ensconce themselves into absolute power.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

I guess I  missed most of this conversation, but as far as wanting to be Donald Trump, why would I want  to be a 99% jackass instead of the 50% one I am now? And I get the feeling my wife would probably dispute the non-50% jackass part of me.  22222frying pan

@Right_in_Virginia , I'm going to tell you (again) that I have you on permanent Ignore, so I don't have to see any of your smears or insults, or slams on my character (unless some kind, fair, non-judgmental soul defends me against them, as two did here).

Please don't bother pinging me again.  I will not read what you say.  Life is too short to bother defending myself against someone who can't deal with my distaste for his or her idol.

I know you pretend it's "polite" to ping me, but I really, truly don't give a rip about your insults, so you can stop wasting my time.

A word to the wise?????   Please???

If you respected me, as you claim, you wouldn't post insults to me, and you would do as I ask and stop pinging me to your distortions and smears.

I'd rather have you insult me behind my back than to have to see that you've pinged me, and have to ignore it as I always do.

This is the last time I will ask you.  IF you have any respect for me at all, stop pinging me.

(But since I know you actually don't, I will continue to ignore your disrespectful pings for all of eternity.....  *****rollingeyes*****)

He may not have toward @musiclady directly, but yes, yes he has, and many times. He is so very braggadocios about his 'success' that it makes up a good half of his lies.

Well, @roamer_1  I know Jesus has very little patience for those who live by and judge others by the word of the law ... all the while pissing all over its spirit.

"Woe" to the vipers.  As it was then, it is now.

PSSST! Here's a secret...
The Pharisees did not uphold Torah. They did not stand in the principles of the Law. They had their own thing, the Wisdom of the Elders... They changed the principles of the Law of YHWH to fit their whim and assert their authority. They were the pragmatists.

Yeshua conserved Torah. Yeshua preached Torah. he upheld the principles of Torah. Perfectly. Had he not, he would not qualify as Messiah. Those who follow him do as he did.

Who then would be the viper here @Right_in_Virginia ?

You mean... like this...?

Quote
Proverbs 17:15
Acquitting the guilty and condemning the righteous--both are detestable to the LORD.

Condemning someone as a "bad Christian" or "unChristian" (just because they don't approve of Trump... who is nowhere near being "righteous") is not according to the Lord Jesus.  Those that are doing such might want to rethink it.  Trump is merely a sinner that God is using for His purposes.  That's it.

Sorry, but I had to jump in and throw my two cents in...lol.

This isn't about the average Joe. This is about who we grant power and authority to to lead a nation. You damn well better make moral judgments of those who seek power and authority over you and the nation. They wield it in your name.

You choose immoral people you get immoral fruits.
